Plus one

Catherine came into town this weekend. It was really good having her here. We had alotta fun. The first thing we did was go to the whole foods store so the poor vegan wouldn't starve while in Utah. We'd hate to have THAT hanging over out heads. Anyway, Thursday night we went to the Nickelcade, cuz really, why wouldn't we? It was a blast and Catherine got nearly as many tickets as the rest of us combined. Good times. Friday we fulfilled Must-Do-In-Utah #2: the dollar movies. We saw the Beatles-ish movie...around the universe, maybe? Anyway, it was pretty good and pretty trippy. Felt like I was high watching some of the scenes. Again, good times. Also, naturally, we took her to Einstein bagels. Delicious. Friday night we hit up SLC. We ate at Rumbi Hawaiian Grill, then marched our freezing little butts over to the Energy Solutions Arena (stupid name) to watch the Jazz beat the Kings. We were sooooo close to sharing a mouth-watering hot dog. Almost...hehe. Saturday Catherine, Alecia, Met and I got pedicures, then it was off to Park City. We went tubing for a few hours. It was a blast. Everybody needs to experience tubing. Catherine spend most of her time in the warming yurt (have you seen the kid?) while Alecia was either falling in the snow or plowing through the fence!! HAHAHAHAHA....Chris managed to loose his hat halfway down a ride and I managed to get by with only tripping two people. After our toes fell off from frostbite, we went into Park City to eat. Last night was finished off by The Simpson's Movie and pumpkin cookies. MMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!

We're glad Catherine came and we hope she had as much fun as we did.
Now, I really hope you enjoyed reading this cuz it has taken me an hour to do it, as i'm typing with 9 fingers. Why, do you ask? Cuz i smashed my pointer finger at work and it is non-functional. Take a look:

My friend....my arm is now complete

Mom, congrats on finding how to leave comments. Too bad for you they're all NEGATIVE!! Shame on me for watching Sweeney Todd? At least I don't smoke pot or wear cross necklaces, right? That's what I thought, but thanks for always being a mom and watching out for me. I know your job is never done! Oh, and BTW, if you would actually send me Tortilla Curtain I would read it.
Anna, did you know that the Kite Runner was made into a movie? I bet you're gonna run to the movies and wait in line to watch it, huh? Haha....well, I want to see it.
Moving on...there's quite a bit of snow. Yesterday brought a foot or so to the valley floor. Crazy. I shoveled 3 times yesterday so my car wouldn't be stuck by the time I left for work. Tivo is deathly afraid of the snow shovel. He resorted to hiding behind a tree anytime I got within 20 ft of him (this means he would dart out and pretend he was going to charge me until he remembered what a sissy dog he is, then back to the tree for protection). Silly dog.
Chris and I are still waiting on dental school (I've noticed quite a few people have been asking, so ask no more). We put $500 down at UNLV. As Chris says, "We're half committed to UNLV." We're still hoping to hear from the other two schools so we can loose that $500 at UNLV and give MORE MONEY to a different establishment.....ouch.
Well, Catherine is coming Thursday. We're going to a Jazz game-against the Sacramento Kings-on Friday. I'll fill you in with the exciting crap we do.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ALECIA!!

Spelling? Wathc my Spelling? For what....

As you saw in the pictures and as Anna pointed out, our little guy loves to wear shirts. Why? Because i put them on him. Why do i put them on him? Because it's freaking hilarious, that's WHY!!! The one says "these are my groupies" and the other says "Go fetch YOURSELF!" Hahahaha, since Tivo just stares at you when you throw anything for him to get, I thought this was a perfect fit. Plus, anything of mine must sport the 'tude!! It's great, isn't it?
Well, i don't really have much to say. There's still snow everywhere. I would go play in it, 'cept now it is decorated with yellow and brown everywhere and as you know, stay away from the yellow snow.
I saw Sweeney Todd last night. Interesting. Chris slept right through it, so if you ask his opinion, promptly ignore what he has just told you. I found it very interesting and disturbing at the same time. There is WAY TOO MUCH gore. Yes, i was feeling a bit sick by the end. The spraying and splattering of blood everywhere gets quite old, yet surprisingly still has a sickening affect on the viewer. If you go see it, please tell me what you thought of the movie. I think the next movie will be more along the lines of P.S. I Love You....haha.
So, there's just 3 of us in the gigantic house for awhile, until they find someone to inhabit it. I turned to heat down to 60* and bought a few heaters at THD yesterday.
Well, that's enough boringness for one sitting, I'm taking Tivo over to Megan's so we can play the Wii.
See ya!!
