Sorry, no pics again!!!!!
Ok, so the do rag. Haha. It's freaking hilarious isn't it? Well, Chris sweats a lot so I got him this nice "head cover" to help wick the sweat during his bike ride. He wasn't such a fan, but he did humor me and wear it around the house for a bit. I'm still trying to convince him to wear it out of the house...that will take much prodding and bribery.
So, the last week has been pretty mundane, yet again. Work is still going ok. Just doing a bunch of the same stuff and talking crap about all the employees cuz they brag about their overheads, when in reality they totally blow.
Tivo is Tivo. He's had many play dates with Dog Dog, Ray, Louie, and crazy psycho Liberty. He's a good boy. We get many compliments on how well behaved he is. He's a great actor too!! He puts on a show.
Yesterday, we went to Scera pool. Because Chris went off the diving board (and by went off i mean did a billion flips off of it), I had to get into the water. The cesspool of dead skin cells, pee, and bacteria filled water. Yuck!!! I'm not dead or sick yet, so that's good.
The other day, Chris and I were playing Frisbee in the backyard. Naturally we were trying to do tricks and stuff. On one of my attempts, I fell and jabbed my hand into the non-forgiving ground. The ground retaliated by shooting a freaking thorn thing into my hand. I couldn't stop in the middle of our game, so I kept playing (that was STUPID). We finally went inside and Chris helped me extract the thorn. I now have a hole filled with puss in the palm of my hand. Exciting stuff.
Sometimes I guess you should just pull things out if they penetrate your skin and leave you in excruciating pain!?!

Nothing New
So. Yea. I just keep writing though not many people look at this anymore. I have faith...I do!
Work was swell. The garden is doing dandy. We have things poking out of the ground now. The peppers and tomatoes are budding. Tivo only walks through it 5x a day now. Lastly, I'm putting in a lot of time for something I won't be able to fully enjoy. It's brilliant!!
Yesterday a friend and I went to the Provo "Farmer's Market." If you ever have the urge to go, don't waste your time; however, we did run across Winder Farms, so I guess that's good. Oh, have you ever played Wii Fit or the new Mario Smash Bros. Brawl game? I definitely have. Love them. They're fun. We've played them the last two nights. In fact, we even got Coleman to play with us for a few hours. Awesome. And, speaking of Coleman, he and Chris helped Alecia yesterday fix her up-rooted tree. It was quite the adventure...it included a broken nylon rope, some tie downs, some make shift stakes, a 4-wheeler, shovels, ground up grass, a big hole, an unstable fence, 3000* F, 2 dogs, 1 bunny, and a whole lot of muscle. In fact, when we got the 4-wheeler to bring the tree forward, it totally fell to the side. This is the point that Atlas, I mean Coleman jumped underneath this huge pine tree and held it there until Chris jumped off the 4-wheeler and together they slowly pushed it into place. It was truly something amazing to witness. Alecia and I just stood there, stunned. It was pretty much the highlight of my day.
And that's basically what's been going on. Maybe you don't read cuz I'm boring? Or maybe it's simply cuz you have way better things to be doing.....well, whatever.
Enjoy!!!

been gone
So, the Internet at our house blows. It hasn't worked for about a week now. I'm at a friends right now using her computer. Dang. Good thing we're moving and don't have to worry about it much longer.
I changed positions at work a few weeks ago. I'm now on inventory crew. All we do is down stock, face, organize, and count. We start at 4 am. I freaking love it! We're done early and I'm kept busy the whole time, thus the time flies. My issue with this new job is sleep. I have always struggled going to bed early. I pay for it though, that's for sure. Although, I am married to a g-pa who wants to head to bed at 8pm. This helps...a little.
The bike ride went well. Chris made it all the miles. That was his goal and he achieved it. It was pretty awesome to see all those guys out there killing themselves. I would post pictures from the whole trip, but my mom ended up with my camera. She lives in Reno. Dang. I will put some on relatively soon.
My bro is staying with us for awhile. Some mornings he on the couch, others, he's not. He goes back to school in August. I'm glad he can help us move. I'm not looking forward to moving all of our crap.
Well, that's really all for now. Kinda sporadic, but that's how it goes. Until next time!!!!!!!!

Outside Love
The only time Chris and I really spend time together is when we are working out in the yard. It's a sad, but true reality. Last week, Chris and I pulled a trillion weeds, pruned many bushes, tilled some ground, spread mulch, and planted a garden. Basically I'm trying to say we spent a lot of time together last Sunday. Do you want proof? I have some. Check it out...
On the right we have carrots, then beans. The mounds are cucumbers. Tivo has only walked through it a few times, so that's good. Chris did a brilliant job of tilling the ground and mixing it with top soil I bought (oh, that was the disclaimer, we could do yard work and a garden if I bought it all. I did.)! My job was to read how to plant the stuff and throw out the million rocks...ugh...
Here I am with my beautiful sweet pepper bush. Later we got orange peppers and yellow tomatoes.
Chris is trying to show off his HUGE muscles...this picture doesn't do him justice though...hehe...
Below is the pile of branches we pruned and sawed off. This bush thing was a bit unruly and we tamed it. Now, what to do with all of the dead wood...hmmm....
Here we have the before and after. Chris and I decided to go with a color treated mulch. We figured it would look cool with the red brick house. We were right. It's awesome.Jan, here is a picture of one of our roses. They're really starting to bloom now. I just bought a Praying Mantis nest and put it in the bushes to eat all of the Aphids. We'll see how they do.
Finally, here is Boy. I failed to mention before that I was also in charge of sunscreen. Looks like I missed a few spots. Hehe, it looks really goofy and unfortunately, it hurts too. Sorry hon. I will be better next time....
Long Live Smash Parties
I have been waiting for someone to ask and my guess was correct. Anna, thank you! Tivo and I are indeed jumping around; however, it isn't JUST a pile of trash that we're jumping ON. No!! Tivo, Chris and I were having a SMASH PARTY. I used to have a 6 ft. Styrofoam pterodactyl, which I adored. He was housed in our front room. One day, Tivo broke poor Pteri's wing, in two places. One night, I got so upset that Pteri was broken, I jumped on him. I continued jumping on him until he was smashed to a million smithereens. Tivo and Chris joined in the festivities.
